Generally, the pressure difference between the front and back of the oil filter is 0.105-0.140MPa. When it is greater than the specified value, it should be replaced in time. The specific replacement time is 50-150 hours of initial use and operation, and it will need to be replaced every 1000-2000 hours thereafter. If the air compressor runs less than the rated time per year, the filter element should also be replaced when the oil is changed. When replacing, drain the dirty oil in the oil filter and clean the inside of the filter. When installing the filter element, pay attention to check the sealing ring or gasket in the filter to prevent oil bypass due to poor sealing and make the filter invalid.
Another failure is the rupture of the oil and gas separator. The performance is that the oil in the screw air compressor is taken away by the compressed air, the drain pipe of the pipeline filter contains oil, the oil level of the screw air compressor decreases, and it is forced to stop for emergency replacement. From the perspective of the fault, because the oil-gas separator used is dirty, the penetration resistance of the compressed air increases during the oil-gas separation, and the air pressure increases, which finally leads to the rupture of the oil-gas separator.
Screw type or sliding vane type air compressors, such as oil-injected and drip-lubricated air compressors, have oil leakage and high oil consumption. It is very likely that the filter element of the oil-air separator has failed or is damaged, commonly known as flying oil, and the oil-air separator may need to be replaced Filter elements, seals in relevant positions such as O-rings, gaskets, etc. Another possibility is that the oil return filter screen or valve is blocked, the pipeline is damaged, and the separated oil cannot return to the suction end, resulting in loss of lubricating oil.
